The Success

key of the Success
You sometimes come across those people that when you ask them what more they want out of life they say, "Nothing..." The kicker here is they actually mean it. Do you feel this type of *******ment and joy in your life?

Many people spend a lot of their time being envious of their more fortunate neighbors and find themselves constantly wishing for things they can't really afford. But simply sitting around and having wishful thoughts will not bring success into your life. You need to actually get up and get moving if you want to enjoy the perks of a successful life.

Taking the First Steps towards Success

Nobody in the world ever became successful by doing nothing at all. Even lottery winners have to go out and buy their own tickets, and at times choose their own numbers. What you have to realize is that sitting around waiting for success to fall on your lap isn't considered working towards your goal.

Success doesn't come overnight either. Taking small steps regularly is the best way to go about it. Being envious of your richer or happier neighbors won't do you any good, but you can learn a few things by emulating some of the positive things they are doing, which can be part of the reasons for their success.

You do have to keep in mind that in order to have a truly successful life, you have to create your own path. Blindly mirroring what other people are doing will not do. If you do decide to pick a role model, make sure you understand the reasons for their actions and implement necessary adjustments to make them work for your own life.

Have a clear idea of what you want to achieve and always keep your goals in sight to make sure that you don't stray along the way.

While you can't cut corners to success, you can break up the goal into much smaller goals. You have to make milestones in your path to success. This not only keeps you motivated but it also makes the whole process seem a less stressful, and overwhelming.

Always Think Positive

One of the major deterrents to achieving success in life is negativity. As you work towards success, there will inevitably be a few stumbling blocks and you might even need to backtrack a little from time to time. However, instead of dwelling on these setbacks, think of them as learning opportunities that can further improve your life.

Always stay positive. This is the key to success. Your mindset can hold you back or make you everything you ever dreamed you could be.

As a human being we are programmed to always want more in our lives. However, we should see these wants as goals that are achievable not let downs. Be happy with what you have and work for what you want. If you get discouraged by some reason, go back and recite your affirmations. Remember: Positivity is the key to success.

 Forts & Wadis

nakhal fort

Your guided tour begins with a drive along the magnificent Batinah coastline and a visit to the market town of Barka. Following a tour of the local Fish Souk and historical Barka, you continue to the Oasis of A’ Nakhal, a typical Omani village that lies at the foothills of the mountains near an abundant source of water which irrigates extensive date palm plantations. Visit the 17th Century A’Nakhal Fort which is set on a rocky outcrop surrounded by date palm plantations. The origin of this fort is pre-Islamic with major contributions by the Yar’ubi and Al Bu Said dynasties.

We journey onto the Al Thowarah Hot Springs where water runs from the rocks and forms a pleasant pool. The deep aquamarine hot water springs are at a constant 42 degrees Celsius and reputed to have medicinal qualities. The area is shaded and green and the falaj carries the water to the date plantations.

The route leads to the town of Rustaq, which has a long history of conflict. Rustaq Fort has seen many occupants, including the Persian invaders, and was constantly redesigned and refurbished. It is magnificent and encompasses an area of over one square kilometre. The old Souk is where you can find antiques, artefacts and other collectible items. Your tour will then continue with a visit to Al Hazm Fort before returning to Muscat.

Jebel Akhdar
Your journey continues on a scenic mountain route up to the roof of Oman, the Saiq Plateau which for hundreds of years has only been accessible by donkey. Jebel Akhdar, ‘Green Mountain’, as it is popularly dubbed, offers discovery, adventure and a fascinating insight into the life in one of the most inaccessible places in the Sultanate. From Princess Diana's Point, experience a sense of awe as you witness nature’s primordial beauty as seen in the soaring peaks and plunging canyons.

The rise of terraces on extremely steep mountain slopes is particularly impressive. Feel the climate cool down by as much as 15 degrees on top of the mountain. Either a picnic lunch or dining at a local restaurant is included before taking a leisurely walk through the hanging gardens which run parallel alongside the original falaj system. Next we take you down to the remote mountain village of Soqra, which would not look out of place on the front cover of ‘The National Geographic Magazine’. Return to Muscat at approx 1730
